Sarah & Steve Carter started The Barn Shop in 1986 in a four hundred year old barn and the business gradually outgrew the premises.  In 2004 the business moved to larger purpose built premises which have been carefully planned and refurbished.

 

The fully stocked shooting department has been professionally designed and fitted to an exceptionally high standard.  There is a varied range of new and secondhand guns and rifles available including Beretta, Aya, Sako, Tikka, Rugar, Browning and Franchi.  The new premises can now offer on-site try before you buy service.  The shooting clothing range gives the customer a wide choice with brand names such as Barbour, Le Chameau, Hoggs, Chevalier, Musto, and Hucklecote.

 

The equestrian department sells everything for the horse and rider - jodphurs, riding hats, boots, bridles , saddles and a range of horse feed and bedding. There is a large choice of dog, cat and small animal feed and if your requirement is not a usual stock item then it can be specially ordered in. The very spacious premises gives customers the opportunity to browse at leisure as everything is neatly on display and there are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff available to assist with your purchases.

 

The premises also has an extensive free car park which has the capacity for around sixty cars. The Barn Shop is a pleasant, welcoming shooting and equestrian store, well worth a visit.
